Lauren Winters, Current President
The University of Hartford Women's Club Soccer team was formed in Fall 2015 when a group of women decided they were not ready to give up the game they loved just yet. In the beginning the group would kick the ball around and play pick-up games against each other. This was until one woman, Hannah Moore, decided she wanted to try to join a league. Through the help of other soccer-lovers and the Student Government Association, we would now be considered an official club through the University of Hartford.

Since then, our club has joined a league in which we face other club teams in Connecticut, such as University of Connecticut, Yale University, and Quinnipiac University. Our team is entirely run a small group of our members that have been elected into administrative positions by the entirety of the team. These women volunteer to work on the behind the scenes tasks that help the team survive. Scroll below to see who our current executive board is and what their position entails.

While soccer is the premier objective for our club, we also take pride in the social aspect that being in a club brings. We will hold events, such as pasta parties before games, social scrimmages with other clubs, or simply putting in our group chat what we are doing for others so join. Our club is the perfect place to meet life-long friends while continuing the game that you love without the commitment of D1.
